Theexciting lineup of authors and illustrators who will autograph their books andgive presentations at the 20th Annual Connecticut Children’s BookFair include
Tomie dePaola, Jack D. Ferraiolo,Alan Katz, Gordon Korman, Ted & Betsy Lewin, GraceLin, David Macaulay, Salley Mavor Wendell Minor, Heidi Stemple, Robert Sabuda, StephenSavage, Matt Tavares, Walter Wick, Mo Willems, Jane Yolen, Stephanie Yue plus apanel on dystopian fiction for teens moderated by Nikki Mutch. Story bookcharacters Clifford the Big Red Dog, Strega Nona, Miss Bindergarten and Froggywill interact with attendees and pose for photos. Plus crafts, activities andspecial visits from real live Reading Therapy Dogs.
The Connecticut Children’s Book Fair is aproject of the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center and the UConn Co-op to benefitthe Northeast Children’s Literature Collection. It will be held in the RomeBallroom on the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs.
